WB 30.3.20 - Home learning update
Each class page has been updated with this week's work.
It has been wonderful to see how many activities the children have completed at home.
Education City has now moved to new servers and should be working much better this week. They have apologised for all the disruption last week; hopefully the site will continue to improve.
Some of you may be settling into new home learning routines. Remember that your best is good enough - if your child can finish a task quickly then you do not need them to work on maths for a whole hour! Home learning does differ to learning in class.
Regular reading, maths and writing practise would be great. The teachers are checking the online reading via bug club and will be regularly responding to the children's written answers.
We are continuing to add to the home learning page so keep checking there for new ideas or sites to visit.
We also have a 'live learning' page to track live lessons that you could use at home. Please email us using the address below if you know of any more that we could add.
Use this email address if you need to ask any questions about the work or if you have any queires. We will always do our best to help out.
WB - 23.3.20
In addition to the packs that we have sent home, we have set up home learning activities on the Education City and Espresso sites. These online activities will provide you with daily activities for your home learning.
The pages will be updated weekly
On each of the class pages we have summarised the activities for the week; if you wish to extend the learning further you can of course make use of the other activities on the sites or use our 'Useful websites and home learning' page. Choose 'Our classes' from the above menu, select your child's key stage then you will see our home learning pages.
Many websites are now offering free access for you to use online or to print off activities.
If you have any queries then please contact us on email@example.com and we will reply as soon as we can.
The links to the pages are:
