Collective Worship

Collective Worship is an important time during which we can share in celebrating God's love and learning more about our Christian faith.

Here at Richard Wakefield we have whole school worship on four days each week.  On a Monday the Key Stages have a Key stage specific assembly.  On a Friday we hold a whole school celebration assembly, to share the successes of our children both in and out of school.

A daily, shared act of worship, in the Christian tradition, is led by children, teachers, Reverend Pip, Reverend Ian or guest speakers. All acts of worship have an underlying Christian theme although their focus may be about world events or social dilemmas. Each month we explore a different value such as respect, compassion and determination, alongside our Christian values.

Our Value for April is Respect.

Romans 12:10

Be devoted to one another in love.

Honor one another above yourselves.

Ephesians 4:32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
